Maggie taught in Malvern and Bedford for four years prior to coming north in 1979 to teach at Scarborough Technical College. The creation of Gowland Farm Craft Workshop in 1991 was a natural progression from Maggie's teaching in the outlying villages in the area. The craft classes and residential courses on the farm ran successfully for ten years and Quarry Close Cottage is a new chapter. It is her hope that the craft workshops will be a new dimension in learning and those enjoying her hospitality will find a tranquil haven where they can explore their own creativity and depart refreshed, energised and inspired.
Maggie can be booked to teach day workshops in your area, for up to 15 students. Rates from £100 per day, plus travel and accommodation.
